About CoreShield Insurance
CoreShield Insurance, a division of Global Advisers, LLC (together with its affiliated entities, “CoreShield”), is an independent, fiduciary-aligned insurance and risk advisory platform. We deliver holistic, needs-based protection strategies for individuals, families, and businesses—empowering our clients to plan confidently and protect what matters.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At CoreShield, we put clients first. Our approach is rooted in transparency, objectivity, and integrity. We disclose our role in every insurance transaction, including how we are compensated, to ensure you understand how we work and whom we serve—you.
We believe that trust is earned, not assumed. That’s why we align our recommendations with your goals—not commissions or carrier incentives.
HOW CORESHIELD IS COMPENSATED
Like other licensed insurance firms, CoreShield is compensated in several ways, consistent with applicable laws and fiduciary standards. These include:
Commissions
CoreShield may receive a commission from insurance carriers or intermediaries as a percentage of the premium charged. This amount may vary based on product type, carrier, underwriting terms, or state-specific regulations.
Client Fees
In certain cases, CoreShield may charge a flat or hourly advisory fee for insurance planning or implementation services. These fees are fully disclosed and agreed to in advance, and may be used instead of, or in addition to, commission-based compensation.
Consulting or Administrative Services
CoreShield may receive compensation from insurance companies or affiliates for providing underwriting insights, operational support, data analysis, or helping carriers improve product design or service delivery. These arrangements are separate from the sale of individual policies.
Contingent or Supplemental Commissions
Some insurance carriers may offer contingent or supplemental commissions based on performance thresholds such as client retention, policy volume, or profitability. These payments are generally not tied to any specific client or policy and are disclosed where applicable.
Wholesaler, MGA, or Program Administrator Roles
CoreShield or its affiliates may serve as intermediaries or program administrators and receive separate compensation for managing underwriting or distribution of specialized insurance offerings.
Referral Fees
We may receive compensation for referring clients to third-party professionals (e.g., premium finance companies or tax services), but only when such referrals are compliant with our fiduciary principles and disclosed in writing.
Interest Income
CoreShield may earn interest or bank income on fiduciary accounts holding client premiums before those funds are transferred to insurance carriers.
Claims and Reinsurance Services
Affiliates of CoreShield may perform claims handling or reinsurance placement services for insurance companies. Any such services are distinct from client engagements and separately compensated.
Specialized Market Access or Intellectual Property
CoreShield may be compensated for providing proprietary placement solutions using our industry relationships or intellectual capital. These arrangements help bring access to unique products for clients with complex or underserved needs.
OUR AGREEMENTS WITH INSURANCE CARRIERS
CoreShield enters into service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, licensing agreements, and data-sharing arrangements with insurance carriers and technology partners. These contracts support quote delivery, policy administration, underwriting, compliance, analytics, and client servicing functions. When we work with insurance carriers in a consultative or technical capacity, we do so independently of any specific transaction and in full compliance with our legal and ethical obligations.
INFORMATION USE & PRIVACY
CoreShield collects and uses personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which includes disclosures under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable insurance regulations. We may request consumer reports, credit history, or claims data as part of the insurance underwriting process, and we protect that information in accordance with state and federal laws.
ANALYTICS & BENCHMARKING
CoreShield may use de-identified client data to support modeling, benchmarking, and risk analysis tools. These tools help us and our clients make better decisions, improve coverage designs, and assess cost-effectiveness. In some cases, we may receive compensation for these analytics services from insurance partners or other stakeholders.
